# aeris vs Coverage Map

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coverage Map at 68% against aeris's 2%. Coverage Map also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). aeris's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Coverage Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coverage Map has 798 ratings behind it against 131, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 2% of aeris's written reviews are positive against 68% of Coverage Map's.

aeris ships an update monthly, Coverage Map fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
