# Discovery GO vs MeTV App

The clearest difference is rating: Discovery GO at 4.7 against MeTV App's 2.7. Discovery GO also leads on ratings volume (35K vs 720) and review sentiment (37% vs 24%). MeTV App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Discovery GO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discovery GO has 35K ratings behind it against 720, so its average is the more settled of the two.
