# MusicBuddy vs Setlink

The clearest difference is update cadence: Setlink at daily against MusicBuddy's monthly. Setlink also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MusicBuddy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Setlink sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MusicBuddy ships an update monthly, Setlink daily. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
