# LCI OneControl vs ReVu DVR

The clearest difference is rating: ReVu DVR at 5.0 against LCI OneControl's 3.1. LCI OneControl's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReVu DVR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LCI OneControl has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LCI OneControl ships an update every 3 weeks, ReVu DVR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
