# Master Pizza vs Mr. Hero

The clearest difference is rating: Mr. Hero at 4.8 against Master Pizza's 4.1. Mr. Hero also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 96). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mr. Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mr. Hero has 4.8K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Master Pizza's written reviews are positive against 53% of Mr. Hero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Master Pizza ships an update every 5 months, Mr. Hero every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
