# Guitar Flash vs Piano CCB

The clearest difference is rating: Piano CCB at 5.0 against Guitar Flash's 4.0. Piano CCB also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Guitar Flash's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 35%) and ratings volume (52 vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guitar Flash sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Piano CCB asks for nothing beyond the download.

Piano CCB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guitar Flash has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Guitar Flash's written reviews are positive against 35% of Piano CCB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guitar Flash ships an update every 2 months, Piano CCB every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
