# NailConnect vs BonChat

The clearest difference is rating: BonChat at 4.8 against NailConnect's 3.3. BonChat also leads on ratings volume (59K vs 22) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). NailConnect's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 56%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BonChat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BonChat has 59K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of NailConnect's written reviews are positive against 56% of BonChat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NailConnect ships an update every 2 months, BonChat every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
