# Native Camp vs シャドテン

The clearest difference is ads: シャドテン at none against Native Camp's shown. Native Camp's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 159) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Native Camp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and シャドテン sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $189.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Native Camp against 4.7 for シャドテン. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Native Camp has 1.6K ratings behind it against 159, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Native Camp's written reviews are positive against 46% of シャドテン's.

Native Camp ships an update every 4 days, シャドテン every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
