# MyScreen vs Widgets Kit Icon Wallpaper App

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyScreen at free with in-app purchases against Widgets Kit Icon Wallpaper App's subscription. MyScreen also leads on ratings volume (312K vs 13K) and chart position (#76 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScreen sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Widgets Kit Icon Wallpaper App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgets Kit Icon Wallpaper App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyScreen has 312K ratings behind it against 13K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of MyScreen's written reviews are positive against 51% of Widgets Kit Icon Wallpaper App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
