# MyScreen vs DayDrop

The clearest difference is ads: DayDrop at none against MyScreen's shown. MyScreen's advantage is chart position (#73 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyScreen sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and DayDrop sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyScreen ships an update every 3 weeks, DayDrop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
