# Election Runner vs Boardable

The clearest difference is rating: Boardable at 3.9 against Election Runner's 2.6. Election Runner's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boardable holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Election Runner's written reviews are positive against 30% of Boardable's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Election Runner ships an update every 3 weeks, Boardable every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
