# iScanner vs Adobe Scan

iScanner and Adobe Scan are too close to call on the numbers: across 11 compared parameters — price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. iScanner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Adobe Scan sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for iScanner against 4.9 for Adobe Scan. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4M and 1.6M respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 81% and 82% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
