# iScanner vs Scanner for Docs

iScanner and Scanner for Docs both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of iScanner's written reviews are positive against 50% of Scanner for Docs's. iScanner also leads on ratings volume (1.4M vs 25) and chart position (#5 vs unranked). Scanner for Docs's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iScanner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Scanner for Docs sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
