# Adobe Capture vs Lab.zip

The clearest difference is rating: Adobe Capture at 4.8 against Lab.zip's 4.3. Adobe Capture also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 4). Lab.zip's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adobe Capture sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Lab.zip sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Adobe Capture holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adobe Capture has 24K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Adobe Capture's written reviews are positive against 67% of Lab.zip's.

Adobe Capture ships an update monthly, Lab.zip fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
