# OV Loop vs SIR Connect

The clearest difference is rating: SIR Connect at 5.0 against OV Loop's 3.8. SIR Connect also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). OV Loop's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 35 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SIR Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OV Loop has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
