# Accurize vs eSmartLock

The clearest difference is rating: Accurize at 2.8 against eSmartLock's 2.3. Accurize also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). eSmartLock's advantage is ratings volume (159 vs 10) and review sentiment (32% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accurize sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.49 per month and eSmartLock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Accurize holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eSmartLock has 159 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Accurize's written reviews are positive against 32% of eSmartLock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Accurize ships an update weekly, eSmartLock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
