# Sricam vs RView

The clearest difference is rating: RView at 2.9 against Sricam's 1.9. Sricam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RView holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sricam has 218 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 11% and 10% positive.

Sricam ships an update fortnightly, RView every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
