# Dizzli vs HomeCooked Recipes

The clearest difference is rating: HomeCooked Recipes at 4.1 against Dizzli's 1.0. HomeCooked Recipes also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). Dizzli's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HomeCooked Recipes sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Dizzli asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeCooked Recipes holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeCooked Recipes has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Dizzli's written reviews are positive against 60% of HomeCooked Recipes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dizzli ships an update every 6 weeks, HomeCooked Recipes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
