# Dized vs 5

The clearest difference is rating: Dized at 4.6 against 5's 3.4. Dized also leads on ratings volume (328 vs 52). 5's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dized sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. 5 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dized holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dized has 328 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Dized's written reviews are positive against 37% of 5's.

Dized ships an update every 2 months, 5 fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
