# Simple Timetable vs Assignment Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Assignment Tracker at 4.7 against Simple Timetable's 2.8. Assignment Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 7 months). Simple Timetable's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 31%) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Simple Timetable asks for nothing beyond the download.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Assignment Tracker has 100 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Simple Timetable's written reviews are positive against 31% of Assignment Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Timetable ships an update every 7 months, Assignment Tracker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
