# 气压计 vs Elevation Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 气压计 at none against Elevation Map's 3. 气压计 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Elevation Map's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elevation Map sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. 气压计 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Elevation Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elevation Map has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 气压计's written reviews are positive against 67% of Elevation Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

气压计 ships an update every 8 months, Elevation Map every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
