# Meeting Guide vs Spec'd App

The clearest difference is rating: Meeting Guide at 4.4 against Spec'd App's 3.0. Meeting Guide also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (1K vs 2). Spec'd App's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spec'd App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Meeting Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

Meeting Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Meeting Guide has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Meeting Guide ships an update every 2 months, Spec'd App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
