# Attack of the Clockwork Army vs Pilot's Path

The clearest difference is rating: Pilot's Path at 4.6 against Attack of the Clockwork Army's 2.9. Pilot's Path also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 14 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Attack of the Clockwork Army sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pilot's Path sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pilot's Path holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Attack of the Clockwork Army's written reviews are positive against 40% of Pilot's Path's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Attack of the Clockwork Army ships an update every 14 months, Pilot's Path every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
