# Fokus e vs Merita

The clearest difference is ads: Fokus e at none against Merita's shown. Merita's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fokus e sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $40.99 per 3 months and Merita sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fokus e ships an update every 4 months, Merita weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
