# Strategy Live Mobile vs Apex ELD

The clearest difference is monetization model: Apex ELD at free against Strategy Live Mobile's subscription. Apex ELD also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (22 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Apex ELD holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Apex ELD has 22 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
