# Skool Loop vs Mindvalley

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Skool Loop at none against Mindvalley's 16. Skool Loop also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (14 vs 17.0). Mindvalley's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7.1K vs 43). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindvalley sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days. Skool Loop asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mindvalley holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindvalley has 7.1K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Skool Loop's written reviews are positive against 73% of Mindvalley's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skool Loop ships an update every 2 weeks, Mindvalley weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
