# Skool Loop vs Xplor Home

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Skool Loop at 92% against Xplor Home's 28%. Skool Loop also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (14 vs 16.0). Xplor Home's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xplor Home holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 43 and 38 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Skool Loop's written reviews are positive against 28% of Xplor Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skool Loop ships an update every 2 weeks, Xplor Home monthly. The most recent releases landed on August 25, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
