# Othello vs Grid Genius

The clearest difference is update cadence: Grid Genius at weekly against Othello's every 11 months. Othello's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Othello ships an update every 11 months, Grid Genius weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
