# COOKINGHELP vs RecipeLog

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: COOKINGHELP at none against RecipeLog's 1. COOKINGHELP also leads on ads (none vs shown). RecipeLog's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 21 months) and iOS requirement (12.3 vs 26.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RecipeLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. COOKINGHELP asks for nothing beyond the download.

COOKINGHELP ships an update every 21 months, RecipeLog every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
