# Ooni Pizza Ovens vs Homebaker

The clearest difference is rating: Ooni Pizza Ovens at 4.8 against Homebaker's 1.0. Ooni Pizza Ovens also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Homebaker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homebaker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Ooni Pizza Ovens asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ooni Pizza Ovens holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ooni Pizza Ovens has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Ooni Pizza Ovens's written reviews are positive against 100% of Homebaker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
