# Catheria vs OZ Effects

The clearest difference is ads: Catheria at none against OZ Effects's shown. OZ Effects's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catheria sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and OZ Effects sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Catheria ships an update every 3 months, OZ Effects fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
