# MalaMode vs ArtCast

The clearest difference is update cadence: ArtCast at daily against MalaMode's every 2 weeks. MalaMode's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MalaMode sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ArtCast sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MalaMode ships an update every 2 weeks, ArtCast daily. The most recent releases landed on June 2, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
