# RIDGID View vs PPT Remote Control

The clearest difference is rating: RIDGID View at 3.5 against PPT Remote Control's 1.0. PPT Remote Control's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RIDGID View holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of RIDGID View's written reviews are positive against 80% of PPT Remote Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RIDGID View ships an update every 4 months, PPT Remote Control every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
