# RIDGID View vs USB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RIDGID View at 67% against USB's 18%. RIDGID View also leads on rating (3.5 vs 2.0). USB's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RIDGID View holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of RIDGID View's written reviews are positive against 18% of USB's.

RIDGID View ships an update every 4 months, USB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
