# RIDGID View vs FlashDrop

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RIDGID View at none against FlashDrop's 1. RIDGID View also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.5). FlashDrop's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RIDGID View asks for nothing beyond the download.

RIDGID View ships an update every 4 months, FlashDrop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
