# Guidefitter vs NA Whitetail Specials

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Guidefitter at none against NA Whitetail Specials's 10. Guidefitter also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 9 months). NA Whitetail Specials's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NA Whitetail Specials sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Guidefitter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Guidefitter holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guidefitter has 5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Guidefitter's written reviews are positive against 100% of NA Whitetail Specials's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guidefitter ships an update monthly, NA Whitetail Specials every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
