# Live GIF vs Telecraft

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Telecraft at 93% against Live GIF's 28%. Telecraft also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Live GIF's advantage is ratings volume (404 vs 14) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.4). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Live GIF costs $3.99 and Telecraft $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Telecraft holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live GIF has 404 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of Live GIF's written reviews are positive against 93% of Telecraft's.

Live GIF ships an update every 2 months, Telecraft weekly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
