# Live Wallpaper Maker Themes vs iPattern

The clearest difference is rating: Live Wallpaper Maker Themes at 4.6 against iPattern's 4.0. Live Wallpaper Maker Themes also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). iPattern's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Live Wallpaper Maker Themes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and iPattern sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Live Wallpaper Maker Themes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Wallpaper Maker Themes has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Live Wallpaper Maker Themes's written reviews are positive against 100% of iPattern's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Live Wallpaper Maker Themes ships an update every 2 months, iPattern every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
