# OLAS vs Parrot

The clearest difference is rating: Parrot at 4.7 against OLAS's 2.7. Parrot also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 3) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). OLAS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Parrot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. OLAS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Parrot holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parrot has 17K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OLAS ships an update every 2 weeks, Parrot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
