# DroneVR vs Cfly Go

The clearest difference is rating: DroneVR at 3.8 against Cfly Go's 2.0. DroneVR also leads on ratings volume (230 vs 4). Cfly Go's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DroneVR sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Cfly Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

DroneVR holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DroneVR has 230 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of DroneVR's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cfly Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DroneVR ships an update every 2 months, Cfly Go every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
