# Spinn vs Aeromatic

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Spinn at none against Aeromatic's 1. Spinn also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 106) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Aeromatic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (97% vs 68%). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aeromatic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Spinn asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aeromatic holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spinn has 12K ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Spinn's written reviews are positive against 97% of Aeromatic's.

Spinn ships an update every 9 days, Aeromatic monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
