# Poparide vs Kangaride

The clearest difference is rating: Poparide at 4.9 against Kangaride's 4.7. Poparide also leads on ratings volume (754 vs 108) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Kangaride's advantage is review sentiment (48% vs 38%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Poparide holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poparide has 754 ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Poparide's written reviews are positive against 48% of Kangaride's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Poparide ships an update every 3 weeks, Kangaride every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
