# Convoy vs AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: AI at free against Convoy's free with in-app purchases. AI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Convoy's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Convoy has 3.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Convoy ships an update every 3 weeks, AI fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
