# Convoy vs LoadNest

The clearest difference is rating: LoadNest at 5.0 against Convoy's 4.6. LoadNest also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Convoy's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LoadNest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Convoy has 3.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Convoy ships an update every 3 weeks, LoadNest every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
