# Isometric Paper vs IAPMO Codes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Isometric Paper at 59% against IAPMO Codes's 0%. Isometric Paper also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). IAPMO Codes's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 16 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IAPMO Codes holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Isometric Paper has 41 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Isometric Paper's written reviews are positive against 0% of IAPMO Codes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Isometric Paper ships an update every 16 months, IAPMO Codes every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
