# Instaread vs LetsReadTheBible

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LetsReadTheBible at 100% against Instaread's 40%. LetsReadTheBible also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Instaread's advantage is ratings volume (9.3K vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instaread sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and LetsReadTheBible sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LetsReadTheBible holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instaread has 9.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
