# Everywriter vs Book Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Book Creator at 4.0 against Everywriter's 3.2. Everywriter's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Everywriter sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 6 months and Book Creator sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Book Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Everywriter has 147 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Everywriter's written reviews are positive against 0% of Book Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Everywriter ships an update every 10 days, Book Creator every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
