# SmarterVegas.com vs RTC

The clearest difference is rating: SmarterVegas.com at 4.8 against RTC's 4.3. SmarterVegas.com also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (907 vs 85). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmarterVegas.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmarterVegas.com has 907 ratings behind it against 85, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of SmarterVegas.com's written reviews are positive against 71% of RTC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmarterVegas.com ships an update every 3 weeks, RTC monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
