# Kakejiku vs Vertical Planner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Kakejiku at 82% against Vertical Planner's 59%. Vertical Planner's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kakejiku sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Vertical Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kakejiku ships an update every 5 weeks, Vertical Planner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
