# NBL vs HLTV

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HLTV at 1.2K against NBL's 10. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for NBL against 4.7 for HLTV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HLTV has 1.2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 31% of NBL's written reviews are positive against 38% of HLTV's.

NBL ships an update fortnightly, HLTV every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
